Today we’ll be looking at how the Cincinnati real estate market is doing this fall.
We have 5,444 active listings in our MLS today, a 6% decrease from this time last year and 3% decrease from the previous month. Although interest rates have recently increased, they are historically very low, which continues to make it a great time for buyers to buy homes.
There have been over 1,200 new listings since the beginning of October with an average list price of $260,000. The average number of days on market is 112, down about 9% from last year.

The median sale price is just under $180,000, a 1.5% increase year to year. The number of units sold last month decreased 9% from this time last year and about 20% from the previous month. Keep in mind, these numbers represent the entire Cincinnati market inventory.
There continues to be many exciting real estate opportunities in the Cincinnati real estate market. Each price range and area have different levels of activity. Homes within specific price ranges will vary in inventory and the average number of days on market.
